Oysters food for sexual desire?

In the West, the oyster is known to be a reputed aphrodisiac since the Roman Empire. Legend has it that Giacomo Girolamo Casanova, the famed seducer of women, enjoys oyster. Perhaps this is his secret weapon that helped him conquer more than 100 women in his lifetime?

In a 2015 research paper by Dr Michael Krychman, it was stated that “Oysters are safe to consume, but no scientific studies have been conducted to show they can stimulate desire.
